ABOUT THIS LEAGUE
At Minnesota Dodgeball, we welcome players of all skill levels. As a proud member of USA Dodgeball, we’re committed to creating opportunities for local athletes to compete at the highest level, sharpen their skills, and measure themselves against top-tier talent.
The Premier League is our most competitive division, designed for dedicated dodgeball athletes. Teams build their own rosters without salary restrictions and primarily play with foam and cloth—the official ball types of USA Dodgeball.
We currently only have 6 team slots available for the league. Teams must have at least 4 players registered to secure their team spot.
DIVISION: Premier BYOT
Format Definitions
- Draft: Captains will participate in a snake draft to select the players who will be on their team.
- Remix: Players register individually for our Remix league, and league managers will create new teams each week from the full pool of registered players. You’ll play with a different team every week, each led by one of our captains.
- BYOT (Bring Your Own Team): This division allows players to form their own team with certain salary restrictions (except for Premier) to ensure a fair and balance league.
ROSTER
Participation is limited to returning Minnesota Dodgeball players—first-time players are not eligible. Eligibility requirements include one of the following:
- Eligibility requires a salary cap of 4 or higher. Players with a salary cap of 3 or below may only join if sponsored by a league manager or seasoned veteran leader. Please contact us to inquire about your salary cap.
- Participated in a national dodgeball tournament. This may include (Sin City, Stonewall Nationals, SQUID, Mile High, etc.)
Teams must roster at least 6 players, with a recommended maximum of 8.
If you register but do not meet the eligibility requirements, your registration will be refunded minus processing fees.
THE GAME
- 7″ Foam Balls
- Max: 6 players on court
- Teams typically play 1 match per night
- 42 minute matches
RULES
- Headshots discouraged but legal.
- Deflections off balls and players count.
- Balls can get multiple players out.

Day of the Week: Tuesdays
Match Times:
- Match Hour 1 – 6:30 PM to 7:15 PM
- Match Hour 2 – 7:25 PM to 8:10 PM
- Match Hour 3 – 8:20 PM to 9:05 PM
Location: Breck Field House, 123 Ottawa Ave N., Golden Valley
Format: 5 Match Season + 2 Exhibition Cloth Weeks + Combine and Playoffs/Finals
Pricing:
- Optional Annual Membership: $40
- New Player: $70
- Returning Player (Member): $70
- Returning Player (Non-Member): $85
Registration Opens: June 11th, 10:00 AM
Registration Deadline: July 7th, 10:00 PM

Full refund, excluding processing fees, may be issued 48 hours after the combine or for exceptional circumstances.
