Our Lavender League stands as the flagship LGBTQIA+ focused league within Minnesota Dodgeball. We deeply understand the significance of establishing a dedicated space for the underrepresented LGBTQIA+ community within the realm of dodgeball. It is our steadfast commitment to cultivating an environment that not only acknowledges the unique experiences of this community but also actively strives to be a sanctuary of safety, inclusion, and celebration for all participants involved.
The creation of this league reflects our commitment to fostering diversity, ensuring that everyone feels seen, heard, and valued in the world of dodgeball. Through the Lavender League, we aim to contribute to the larger movement of promoting inclusivity and equality in sports, recognizing the importance of providing a platform where individuals from diverse backgrounds can come together, embrace their identities, and revel in the spirit of camaraderie and fair play.
Due to the social nature of the league, league managers may restrict participation by players classified as Advanced and above in the salary bracket. This decision is based on factors such as competitiveness, temperament, and potential impact on the league environment. If you have any questions or are unsure if you qualify to play, please reach out to us.
Format: SNAKE Draft League
In our lavender league, players will join a draft combine to review some rules, participate in basic skills training and scrimmage with other players in the league. This provides an opportunity for captains to scout players in the league. Captains will come together to participate in a snake draft league and players will be revealed during a team reveal league wide party.
ROSTER
Teams may have up to 10 players on the roster and max of 8 on the court. However, depending on the number of registrations, the format may be adjusted. This flexibility enables us to cater to varying team sizes based on demand. Our goal is to ensure an equitable distribution to the best of our ability.

- Deflections off balls and players count.
- Balls can get multiple players out.

Registration Details
Each registration includes a league t-shirt and a minimum of 8 weeks of play.
Day of the Week: Tuesdays
Game Times: 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Location: Breck Middle School, 123 Ottawa Ave N, Golden Valley, MN 55422
Format: 8 Week Season, includes Combine and Playoffs/Finals
Registration Opens: September 16th, 12:00 PM
Registration Deadline: $60, deadline October 8th, 10:00 PM
