ABOUT THIS LEAGUE
Our Lavender League stands as the flagship LGBTQIA+ focused league within Always Funday – Minnesota Dodgeball. We deeply understand the significance of establishing a dedicated space for the underrepresented LGBTQIA+ community within the realm of dodgeball. It is our steadfast commitment to cultivating an environment that not only acknowledges the unique experiences of this community but also actively strives to be a sanctuary of safety, inclusion, and celebration for all participants involved.
The creation of this league reflects our commitment to fostering diversity, ensuring that everyone feels seen, heard, and valued in the world of dodgeball. Through the Lavender League, we aim to contribute to the larger movement of promoting inclusivity and equality in sports, recognizing the importance of providing a platform where individuals from diverse backgrounds can come together, embrace their identities, and revel in the spirit of camaraderie and fair play.
Format: SNAKE Draft League
In our lavender league, players will join a draft combine to review the rules, participate in a skills day and scrimmage with other players in the league. This provides an opportunity for captains to scout players in the league. Captains will come together to participate in a snake draft league and players will be revealed during a team reveal league wide party.
ROSTER
Your team can have up to 10 players on the roster, but matches will be played with 8 players on each side. However, depending on the number of registrations, the player count may be adjusted. This flexibility enables us to cater to varying team sizes based on demand. To promote inclusivity, for every 4 rostered players, we encourage 1 player to identify as part of the She/They/Nonbinary community. Our goal is to ensure an equitable distribution to the best of our ability.
THE GAME
- 7″ No-Sting Balls
- Minimum: 6×6 games
- Max Roster of 10
- Teams play 1 match per night
- 40 minute matches

- Standing headshots illegal.
- Deflections off balls and players count.
- Balls can get multiple players out.

Registration Details
Each registration includes a league t-shirt and a minimum of 8 weeks of games.
Day of the Week: Tuesdays
Game Times: 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Location: Breck, 123 Ottawa Ave N, Golden Valley, MN 55422
Format: 9 Week Season, includes Combine and Playoffs/Finals
Registration Opens: Tuesday, February 20th, 12:00 PM
Registration Deadline: $60, deadline March 19th, 11:59 PM

Full refund, excluding processing fees, may be issued before the commencement of the first official game or for exceptional circumstances.
