Join a League

New Here

I have never played. Can I still join?
Yes, and most people arrive that way. Our Recreational division exists for exactly this: you sign up on your own, we place you on a team, and nobody expects you to know what you are doing. An open gym is the lowest-stakes way to try it first, and your first one is free.

What should I bring?
Athletic clothes, non-marking indoor shoes, and a water bottle. We provide the balls. Knee pads are a good idea if you like to slide.

Do I have to be fit or fast?
No. Our players cover every age and body type. Divisions exist so you are playing against people at a similar level.

Registration & Leagues

How do I register?
All registration runs through TeamLinkt. Which leagues and divisions run changes from season to season, so the league page always carries the current details and the registration link. Start at Open, Lavender, or WTNB.

When does registration open?
Usually a few weeks before a season starts. We announce dates by email, on the Meetup, and in our Discord.

Do I need a team?
Not for most divisions. In Recreational you sign up alone and we place you. Intermediate takes both, so come alone or bring a roster. Premier is the exception: teams arrive already rostered.

Which league is right for me?
Open is for everyone. Lavender is for the LGBTQIA+ community. WTNB is for women, trans and nonbinary players. We do not question anyone’s identity: if you sign up for a league, you belong in it. How our divisions work covers the skill side of the choice.

What if I cannot afford it?
Cost should never be the reason somebody sits out. Our Athlete Financial Assistance Fund covers part or all of a registration fee, and applications are confidential.

Open Gyms

What are open gyms?
Drop-in sessions with no season commitment. Turn up, grab a ball, play. Some Saturdays we run a skills clinic in the hour beforehand, and one drop-in covers both.

What does it cost?
Your first session is free. After that it is $7, or $3 with a membership.

How do I RSVP?
Through Meetup. Dates and venues move through the year, so the schedule is the place to check.

Youth & Membership

Do you run anything for kids?
Yes. Our youth program is for ages 7 to 14, and a guardian signs a waiver before a player takes the court. Older players who have outgrown it can apply to Rise Up, which is a supervised path into adult open gym.

Is membership worth it?
It pays for itself quickly if you play more than a season a year: discounted registration and cheaper open gyms. The Membership FAQ answers the detail.

I still have a question.
Email us. We answer within a couple of business days.
