Applications opened: April 2, 2026
Applications closed: July 1, 2026
Team slot: Teams needed at least 4 registered players to secure a spot.

Pricing

Minnesota Dodgeball offers an optional membership for local players. Members received discounted pricing. Out-of-state players used non-member rates unless they chose to buy a membership.

Non-member: $50 per main division · $10 per optional remix add-on
Member: $45 per main division · $5 per optional remix add-on
Membership: $40/year

Who could play

Players: All participants had to identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community or the Women, Trans, and Nonbinary (WTNB) community.
Cis male allies: welcomed as referees, setup, and teardown.

Divisions

Target numbers and team caps were a best effort; Minnesota Dodgeball reserved the right to adjust divisions based on demand.

Saturday, August 15

Players chose one of Open BYOT Foam or Mixed Foam. The two ran simultaneously.

Main Division 1 · Open BYOT Foam 6×6 (double elimination). No gender identity requirements. 6 on court, roster minimum 6, 6–8 suggested.
Main Division 2 · Mixed BYOT Foam 6×6 (double elimination). 6 on court, at least 2 identifying as WTNB. Roster minimum 6, no max.
Optional · Cloth Remix (single elimination, 8 teams max). Players remixed onto cloth teams; at least one 15-minute round guaranteed.
Optional · No-Sting Remix (single elimination, 8 teams max). Players remixed onto no-sting teams; at least one 15-minute round guaranteed.

Sunday, August 16

The Sunday remix centred on community and connection, bringing together players who do not usually share a court.

Main Division 3 · Remix Open Foam (double elimination). 6 on court, aiming for at least one WTNB player per team. No on-court gender identity requirements, but teams could not bench the same player for back-to-back rotations.
Main Division 4 · WTNB BYOT No-Sting 5×5 (double elimination). Cis-identifying males ineligible. Roster minimum 5, 5–7 suggested. Not a women-only division: trans and nonbinary players, including those who may be male-presenting, were welcome.

WTNB players may be male-presenting. We trust our community to respect and care for each other.
